Both of us carry two bags. These are saddled to the rear carriage. The bags are modified slightly so that they sit properly.

Inside the bags, we have:

1. Digital Camera - each of us has one. Each of our cameras takes 4 cells and we have a backup set. I have a small tripod too.
2. One GPS receiver, a Garmin eTrex Legend. GPS receivers are notorious for draining batteries very fast. We have four set of NiMH cells to ensure that they never run out of juice. The unit is loaded with a highway map of India.
3. NiMH charger - with all those cells around, you cannot live without this. We have a couple of fast chargers.
4. Full Arm T-Shirts for travelling
5. Cycling Shorts - only KP has these
6. A normal pair of shorts.
7. One Jeans Pant, Shirts(I have 3)
8. One Fleece Jacket
9. Wind Stopper Jacket - only KP has this.
10. Cap + Pair of gloves - to protect the ears and fingers from the biting cold
11. Cycle Tube (2 nos, butane tubes)
12. Tool kit, Puncture kit, pump and convertor valve
13. One swiss knife
14. Cycle headlight + tail light
15. Socks - I carry three pairs
16. Sunscreen, Vaseline
17. Medicine Kit - one
18. Sun Glasses
19. MP3 Players - one each
20. One Cell Phone + Charger
21. Eicher Road Atlas - one
22. Sleeping Bags - one each
23. Note book + pen - both of us have one
24. Laptop - one only
25. Extra brake pads - 8 of them, to be precise
26. Passport size photographs - I have 32
27. Cable lock
28. Other stuff - towels, underwear, shaving kit, soap box…
29. My dhoti !
30. KP has a set of clip on pedals
